We have 4 typical production lines equivalent grades of NM450 steel, which can produce hot rolled Seamless, LSAW, ERW and SSAW pipes. The Seamless pipe production line range is OD 10.3mm-965.2mm, wall thickness 1.0mm-60mm, Annual capacity is 500 thousand tons. LSAW pipe production line range is OD 406mm-1524mm, wall thickness 6mm-50mm, Annual capacity is 150 thousand tons.

In the second step of hot rolling process, different finished mills are used to roll billets or continuous casting billets into finished steel of proper shape and size. This equivalent grades of NM450 steel production process is called finished product production, which is generally divided into two stages of rough rolling and finish rolling. In the roughing stage, a large amount of reduction (reduction per pass) is adopted to reduce the number of passes and improve the output; after roughing, the finishing stage is entered, and the finishing is carried out with a small amount of reduction to achieve a good surface and accurate equivalent grades of NM450 steel size.
